Curicó Valley

Wines with a family tradition

Gateway to the Maule Region, the Curicó Valley experiences a unique union of family tradition with a passion for the land and wine, since many of its vineyards are family businesses that have maintained the tradition for generations.

It is the valley with the largest number of wineries open to tourism and organizes the largest Harvest Festival in Chile, which takes place during the last week of March each year, bringing together thousands of national and foreign visitors. It also has a sports event called “Corrida entre Viñedos” (Race between Vineyards), which has two versions during the year, and the Wine Train, a tourist circuit that starts at Estación Central in Santiago and ends in Curicó, with tasting sessions during the trip and visits to a couple of wineries along the way.
